Come and enjoy the silence of the winter forest and the atmosphere of a campfire. On this trip, we will go snowshoeing, set fishing traps under the ice, and enjoy a snack by the warmth of the campfire. Maximum 3 people. Come on a day trip to enjoy winter nature.

The trip can accommodate a maximum of three participants. The trip will take place even if there is only one participant.
The trip involves setting traps for burbot on Mustamäntyjärvi Lake. The trip schedule is as follows:
10:00 Departure from Joensuu by shared transport
Opportunity to buy snacks in Uimaharju on the way. Local bakery and shop.
Snowshoeing through the forest to the hut and from there to the lake
Setting traps together under the ice.
Lunch by the fire, please note: bring your own snacks
If there is time, we can also set up owl boxes
Return to Joensuu by 5:00 p.m. at the latest
The price of the trip includes transportation between Joensuu and Musta Mäntyjärvi, guide services and snowshoes.
Participants must have warm winter clothes, shoes, pants, a hat, and warm, waterproof shoes. If you don’t have shoes, you can ask us about them.
On the way, we will stop at a small bakery where you can buy traditional Karelian pastries for the trip.
