May Day Doughnut

Matti’s delicious doughnuts taste homemade. They are also dairy-free.

The ingredients for the doughnuts are:

Wheat flour, water, sugar, margarine, egg, cardamom, salt, canola oil

The doughnuts are deep-fried in the food tent next to the Järven Taiga shed. Pre-order price: €2.20 per doughnut. (Price without pre-order: €3 per doughnut)

The doughnuts will be packed in pastry boxes and can be picked up on May 30, 2026, between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

The doughnuts can be found in Hasaniemi, at the sheds on the banks of the Pielisjoki River behind the caravan area, which serves as a winter storage facility for boats outside of the summer season. About 100 meters from the river station toward the city along the riverbank. The nearest street is Länsiviitta, but the sheds do not have an actual street address. The photos include a map to help you find your way there.
