Musta Mäntyjärvi, Womens Fishing Trip 26.-28.5.2023, from 330 € / person

Musta Mäntyjärvi is a Kalastusretket;s own for fishing destination, with plenty of big pike and
perch swimming around. There is a limit for perch and pike, which ensures that there are plenty of
them in the lake. We also take a day trip to the Mäntyjoki river, which runs from Musta Mäntyjärvi,
where we also aim to fish pike and perch.
We will depart from Joensuu by shared transport on 26.5. at 16:30. We will arrive at the destination
around 18:00. After camping, we will set up our fishing gear, get acquainted with the area, available
fishing gear and useful fishing techniques. We will then move on to fishing with kayaks. Before
kayaking, we will have a short instruction on kayak management. You can fish with a guide or
independently, depending on your ability.
After fishing there will be an evening meal and the possibility to go to the tent sauna.
After a good night sleep in the tent and breakfast, free fishing on Musta Mäntyjärvi. After lunch
we load our fishing gear into the car and drive a few kilometres to Mäntyjoki. Mäntyjoki is a small
river where we fish for pike and perch in streams, marshes and ponds. The river trip lasts max 5
hours, after which we return to Musta Mäntyjärvi. Evening programme includes dinner, free
fishing, guided fish handling, sauna and an evening meal.
On Sunday, after breakfast, we pack up and head back home.
Accommodation is in your own or rented tents. There is also a hut at our campsite where the whole
party can have a meal and take a break. There is no electricity or running water.
Trip package includes; transfers from Joensuu, guide services, meals 2x dinner, 1 x lunch, 1 x
dinner, 2 x breakfast, fishing kayak rentals, tent sauna on both nights and fishing equipment.
Trip package does not include: fishing fee, tent, sleeping bag, mattress (possibility to stay in your
own tent without extra charge, price for staying in our tent is reduced)
Total price 330 €, booking fee 66 €. The balance will be charged on an invoice 14 days before the
trip. The trip will take place if there are at least 4 registered participants. If there are not enough
participants, the participants will be informed by 4.5.2023 and all payments made will be refunded.
If you also need tent accommodation, we will charge you separately. However, please let us know
when you book. Our prices are as follows:
● rented tent, shared 25 € /person /trip (can be booked for a group of friends)
● sleeping bag + mattress 15 € / trip

Each participant is responsible for dressing for the weather. Please bring waterproof shoes, a change
of clothes and a towel.
