Between two lakes, surrounded by pine trees, is the Musta Mäntyjärvi hut. The cottage is in Lieksa municipality, near Patvinsuo National Park, about an hour’s drive from Joensuu. Here you can enjoy the peace of nature, walk in the woods, collect berries and mushrooms, fish, paddle and row, and spend quality time in the best company of your choice. In the hut or at the campfire site outside, you can stare at the fire and prepare meals by fire. On the beach of the campsite, you can heat up the tent sauna and take a dip in the fresh lake water. The site has no electricity, no running water, and no well. Bring your own tent mattress or similar, and a sleeping bag ( we also can rent these if you dont have). This offer includes an excursion destination and hut accommodation for a day for two to four people. The price also includes the use of a canoe and rowing boat, firewood and a tent sauna. A fishing license is also included in the price.

Ice fishing is prohibited without fishing guide in Musta Mäntyjärvi. In Valkea Mäntyjärvi ice fishing is free, you don’t need any permits. Valkea Mäntyjärvi is 20 meters from the hut.
In wintertime overnighters must have a winter sleeping bag and experience staying outside in the winter.
