Paddling trip / fishing trip from Joensuu to Jänisjoki 7-8h
Jänisjoki is a former lake Laatokka’s salmon spawning river flowing into Russia. Our route is 15 km, quiet to paddle and suitable for first time visitors. There are a few streams and a small rapids on the way that can be safely lowered and the rapids can also be bypassed from the beach. The excursion is carried out in sitontop kayaks and / or canoes. Our final stop is at Niirala, where the guide makes a black pot coffee and / or prepares a soup lunch. In Niirala, the kayaks are lifted up and returned to Joensuu.
When paddling with the guide, the car driver is also involved, otherwise the program is the same. The driver raises the price of the trip slightly. The excursion can be done as an excursion kayaking or it can also include fishing.

Day trips to lake Musta Mäntyjärvi 10 h
The lake Musta Mäntyjärvi is our own fishing destination in Lieksa, near Patvinsuo Nationalpark. Excursions to the lake are made for groups from Joensuu and Koli. Musta Mäntyjärvi is a separate fishing destination, when you book an excursion, you and your group will be the only fishermens on the lake. We sell the fishing permits, motor vehicles are prohibited. The fishing is intent mainly for perch and pike. Our guide will tell you more about fishing at the lake!

Ice fishing trips to lake Pielinen 3-4h
We arrange ice fishing trips safetly on the winter when the ice is strong enough. January and February are the best months for fish a burbot. Burbots arrive to spawn to shallow waters on January. Sometimes its tricky to get them, sometimes you can get many. Fishing in the dark, headlight on, creates its own feeling and is makes it memorable experience!
We arrange ice fishing trips on the daylight for whole winter when the ice is thick enough. Most popular ice fishing season is from March till April when the sun shines and warms. On day trips we mainly go after perch, roaches, pike, whitefish and zander.
Ice fishing tours include ice fishing gears, baits, guidance services, insurances, warm waterproof shoes (if needed) and outdoor snacks. Max. 18 persons/trip. Small groups max. 8 persons departure and transportation from Koli.
